Designed Sisterhood Dream Team Coordinator


Job Summary

To oversee the Designed Sisterhood and Designed for Life Dream Teamers as articulated in the job responsibilities directly under the vision and direction of the Designed Sisterhood Assistant Director. To assist the Designed Sisterhood Assistant Director with providing oversight and coordination of Dream Teamers for events including the Designed for Life Conference, Designed Sisterhood Night, and all other events related to the office with the addition of Special James River Church Events.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties


Dream Team Designed Sisterhood Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Designed Sisterhood Assistant Director to oversee all Dream Team logistics related to any Designed Sisterhood events, Designed for Life, Special James River Church events, and weekly Designed Sisterhood Grow Track Dream Teams.
  • Manage and coordinate Dream Teams for all Designed Sisterhood events including but not limited to: Group Hosting, Green Room Hosting, Connect Center/Info Center, Café/Refreshments, Security/Medical, Outdoor Hosting, Auditorium, etc.
  • Create and oversee all Dream Team communication to all Designed Sisterhood and Designed for Life Dream Teams.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with Dream Team Leads and Dream Teamers while overseeing them during events.
  • Coordinate and roster Dream Teamers to their assigned Dream Team through Fellowship One GO and Planning Center.
  • Coordinate James River College practicum students for Designed Sisterhood events in Fellowship One GO under the guidance of the Designed Sisterhood Assistant Director.
  • Oversee rostering and set up of Designed for Life Registration booth at all campuses.

  Dream Team Designed for Life Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Designed Sisterhood Assistant Director to coordinate all meetings involving Dream Teamers and Dream Team Leaders.
  • Coordinate and assign all registered Dream Teamers to a Dream Team in Fellowship One GO and Planning Center.
  • Keep Designed for Life Dream Team Rosters up to date.
  • Oversee communication to all Designed for Life Dream Teams.
  • Provide oversight, direction, and communication to Dream Team Leaders.
  • Work with Designed Sisterhood Assistant Director and James River College office to coordinate Designed Sisterhood event job assignments for all James River College students.
  • Work closely with the Registration Department to stay up to date with Dream Team registrations and important data regarding conference registration numbers.
  • Oversee rostering and the setup of Designed for Life Registration Booths at all campuses.
  • Recruit for Designed for Life Registration Booth and maintain relationships with the booth Dream Teamers.
  • Maintain responses to phone calls, voicemails, and emails from Dream Teamers, Dream Team leaders, and James River Church staff in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for working with Logistics Coordinator to prepare signage for Teams for Designed for Life Dream Team Night.

Job Requirements

  • Two (2) years of administrative experience.
  • Event coordinating experience is preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment; as well as English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to get along well with others and handle confidential matters.
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, orally and in writing.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Must be punctual, pleasant, and tactful with professional appearance and conduct.
  • Exhibit professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Capacity to interact positively with and provide service to others at all levels within James River Church.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, coworkers, civic organizations, business professionals, and the general public.
  • Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality through the utilization of professional work standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines and leading Dream Teamers.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with self-motivation.
