How do we know God loves us?
1st He says it
Jeremiah 31:3a NIV
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying,“I have loved you with an everlasting love;”
2nd He illustrates it
Psalm 103:11 NIV
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
Psalm 103:13 MSG
As parents feel for their children, GOD feels for those who fear him.
3rd He proves it by what He did
John 15:13 NIV
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
