2. We get ready for the future by living with a faith-filled expectancy

"Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You're going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. Don’t be afraid–you’re not going to be embarrassed.
3. We get ready for the future by doing all that we can do now

Exodus 19:10-11 NIV
And the Lord said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes and be ready by the third day, because on that day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.
